We Are Just Teens

We´re Just Teens is a collaboration project and art publication, which aims to support Indigenous Australians being heard in their communities. Disparities between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians are very prominent from employment rates to incarceration rates, where Indigenous Australians are still very disadvantaged. A lot of these social issues stem from discrimination against Indigenous Australians. In order to stop subtle and indirect

discrimination, Sharing Voices raises awareness about Indigenous communities. The

publication includes artwork by Indigenous youths in the local youth centre. Money raised from this project will directly support the local youth centre run their weekly activities and programs which support Indigenous youths.
