Wamashudu Mukheli

Wamashudu Mukheli, born on July 24, 1999, in Pretoria and raised in Johannesburg, is a 25-year-old aspiring Chartered Accountant (CA(SA), set to qualify in January 2025. Currently, he serves as an Auditor at BDO South Africa and is the founder of Campus Connect, an innovative web application that provides free educational resources through engaging animated videos and comprehensive notes. Driven by a passion for educational activism, Mukheli is committed to enhancing access to quality educational materials across Africa.

Since its inception, Campus Connect has positively impacted over 30,000 students, attracting 285,000 site visits and serving 21 universities across South Africa. The platform has received several prestigious accolades, including recognition as one of the Top 10 Nedbank Youth Businesses and the SAICA Difference Maker Trailblazer Award. Mukheli envisions expanding Campus Connect to benefit high school and primary school students, with plans to extend its reach beyond South Africa.
