Vegard- Germany

Vegard works as an independent filmmaker and communication designer, leads his faculty's filmmaking community and is creating a website to make (post-)growth questions accessible to anyone. He takes an international perspective to look at changemaking through the lenses of long-term effectiveness, cognitive psychology, communication strategy and the pitfalls of attention economy. He likes to look at orders of magnitude of impact to identify the best next steps for activism, and tries to build funnels. He is eager to learn more about fundraising, and maintaining an independent voice throughout, building modern (science) communication institutions to connect scientists, humanist strategists and the public, about the effectiveness of political lobbying, and enabling behavioural change. He co-designs free toolkits for communicating post-growth and co-founded the Systemic Change Network community for young change thinkers and bursting the post-growth echo chamber.
