Tisuka Sunshine Scholarship

In Zambia, many girls lack menstrual health support, limiting their education and future in STEM fields. The Tisuka Sunshine Scholarship, launched in June 2024, offers selected female students from underserved communities a free solar installation course at Fountain Gate Trade School. Accredited by TEVETA Zambia, the course covers photovoltaic electrics, solar modules, system components, and hands-on installation. Reusable menstrual pads are provided to prevent absenteeism. Graduates receive a certificate, enhancing their employment prospects in Zambia’s renewable energy sector. The program also includes ongoing mentorship and support to further the girls' education and careers in STEM.
