Tanya Mpanza

Tanya Mpanza is a dynamic young woman hailing from Durban, South Africa. Fueled by her passion for educational equality, she firmly believes that everyone deserves access to learning opportunities, regardless of their circumstances. Tanya is a dedicated advocate for teaching essential life skills, such as swimming, and is committed to making these lessons accessible to all, free of charge. In the Town of Indada, Tanya has made a profound impact by launching a variety of community-focused programs. These initiatives include:

  • Swimming Lessons: Offering free swimming lessons to children under the age of 18, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn this vital skill.

  • Learnership Program: Establishing a program that equips students preparing for university with the necessary tools and skills for success in the real world.

With a vision to expand her initiatives, Tanya aims to continue these programs while introducing new ones, not only in Durban but also in other cities and potentially across different countries. Her unwavering commitment to uplifting her community and empowering the next generation is truly inspiring.
