Takudzwa Makuwa

Takudzwa is currently a Master of Commerce in Financial Markets candidate at Rhodes University. During his Honours year, he was recognized as one of the Top 20 Finalists in a 3 Minutes Thesis Competition - the only Honours candidate to be selected in the Top 20. He has received the Nedbank and Old Mutual National Budget Speech award. While working towards becoming an investment analyst at Rhodes University, he has a passion for early childhood development. As such, he joined the BuddingQ program, an intervention in literacy. He was also honored as a Rhodes University Top 100 recipient for Community Engagement out of 8000 students. He believes in cultivating meaningful relationships, driving social change, and contributing to community transformation.
