Sofia Polishchuk

Sofia Polishchuk is a 23-year-old Juris Doctor candidate at the George Washington University Law School, where she specializes in national security and international law. She serves as the Director of the Children of Ukraine Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian children. Additionally, Sofia interns in the political section of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations. In recognition of her contributions, she was named a Leader for Tomorrow by the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs in 2022. Her research on the effects of conventional weapons on Ukraine’s youth has been published by the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute. Sofia has furthered her studies in Ukrainian security and public international law at prestigious institutions, including Harvard, Oxford, and The Hague.
