Sabine- Switzerland

Sabine is the United Nations Youth Delegate for Switzerland, currently studying International Relations and working as a trainer at a youth exchange organisation and as a snowboard instructor. Sabine has been doing volunteer work for many years: She was a board member in a consulting club for sustainable start-ups, part of the organising committee for the trip of 300 young Swiss people to the World Youth Day in Krakow and a German tutor for young migrants. During her mandate, Sabine travelled through Switzerland to speak with young people from various backgrounds and ethnicities about their concerns and interests and organised school visits, workshops and study trips to the UN in Geneva. Her interests include international cooperation, international law and she believes that social inclusion can lead to positive peace. Sabine thinks that incorporating young people can be of benefit to politics in terms of creativeness and new perspectives. She therefore wants to work towards a society which attaches more value to the voice of young people.
