Nthabiseng Msingatha, hailing from South Africa, is an honours student at the University of the Witwatersrand, where she is pursuing a BSc in Industrial Engineering. Her activism is centered on youth development, with a particular emphasis on education and climate action. Nthabiseng is the founder of YouMeta, an early-stage startup that incentivizes young people to cultivate a career identity that is positive for the planet.
Currently, she is recognized as the runner-up in the Nedbank YouthX competition. Additionally, she emerged victorious in the Cape Town Climathon 2023 and had the opportunity to showcase YouMeta at the 2023 Africa Climate Week. Nthabiseng is also a BeVisioneers Mercedes-Benz fellow and holds a position on the African Energy and Economic Youth Council. Looking ahead, she aims to expand partnerships and scale YouMeta, positioning it as a vital link between education and market demands.
