Martha Ayikiriize is a 29-year-old Ugandan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Development Economics from Makerere University. She is both an educator and a social entrepreneur dedicated to assisting primary school teachers in developing children's foundational learning skills. Additionally, she advocates for education and girls' empowerment. Recently, she won a D-prize award to implement Teaching at the Right Level, an accelerated teaching method. She has trained over 200 adolescent girls on menstrual hygiene and the making of reusable sanitary towels. She aspires to utilise the knowledge, skills, and networks she will develop at the summit to grow and scale her social impact, aiming to reach the most underserved school communities in Uganda.
