Let’s Develop Sharp Minds Through Effective Reading

Books are underutilized in Burundi's education system. The "Let's Develop Sharp Minds Through Effective Reading" project, run by the Africa Youth Leadership Forum (AYLF), aims to cultivate a reading culture among university students in Bujumbura from July to October 2024. Participants, aged 18-25, will receive training on active reading techniques to enhance critical thinking. The program includes a training conference, book clubs, a reading challenge, and a competition. Fifty participants will be selected from five universities. AYLF coordinators, Isaac Nininahazwe and Don de Dieu Igiraneza, will provide support, ensuring the project's smooth operation and success.
