Ledama Masidza

Ledama Masidza, a 23-year-old from Kenya, combines his passions for marine conservation, filmmaking, and community empowerment. As a graduate of the University of Cape Town, Ledama oversees marine, forestry conservation endeavors, and a food system initiative tailored for indigenous groups. His dedication to community conservation has contributed to the inception of Kenya's first Co-Managed Marine Area, earning him the Blue Champions Award. Ledama's vision revolves around cultivating partnerships, championing diverse environmental narratives, and building a global network committed to ocean preservation and a sustainable future.
