Lance Johnson

Lance, 25, is a resident of Blackheath in the Western Cape and a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of South Africa. During his time at the University of the Free State, Lance actively contributed to student life by serving as an academic and peer mentor. Beyond his academic pursuits, Lance has been a dedicated community advocate, addressing local issues by organizing various initiatives. He volunteers with a non-profit organization, overseeing projects such as tertiary education and NSFAS application drives, as well as assisting community members in applying for job opportunities, including positions with Fire and Rescue. In 2023, Lance led workshops on crafting effective Curriculum Vitis and enhancing LinkedIn profiles to empower individuals with the skills required for employment.
