Josephine Awuku

Josephine Asare Bayaa Awuku, a 24-year-old from Tamale, Ghana, graduated from the University of Ghana with a degree in Psychology and Adults Education. As a licensed psychologist assistant, she serves as a project officer at the Total Life Enhancement Centre Ghana, an NGO dedicated to mental health. Additionally, Josephine is a youth advocate for the African Faith and Justice Network and is actively involved in the Northern Regional Youth Parliament. With a strong commitment to mental health awareness in northern Ghana and girl child empowerment, she has made impactful contributions through therapy for prison inmates, engagement with ghetto youths, school-based advocacy, and community outreach. Her ambition is to inspire and nurture more advocates in the field.
