Iben - Norway

Iben is from Norway. Iben is engaged in improving the living standards of rural populations, especially that of women. She is part of a social entrepreneurship called Kruti. Kruti works to achieve women empowerment by supporting women in the villages surrounding Mulshi valley to sustain themselves and thus enjoy greater independence. Iben has also worked with Khabar Lahariya, India’s only women-led independent rural media channel, on a campaign called: ‘Let’s make her story his-story’. Furthermore, Iben is involved in environmental activism, and has been diligent in the climate change and oil extraction debate in Norway.
