Aletse, a young Guatemalan passionate about advancing menstrual education, founded our organization to address the lack of information available to girls in Guatemala on this vital subject. To further this mission, Aletse is devising Hormonas y Heroínas, an innovative educational game designed to make learning about the menstrual cycle engaging and interactive.
Hormonas y Heroínas aims to demystify and deeply explore the menstrual cycle through a fun and practical approach. This game will help girls around Guatemala understand how the menstrual cycle affects various aspects of our lives, beyond just the biological details.
In the game, players navigate through the four phases of the menstrual cycle—menstruation, follicular, ovulation, and luteal—by completing corresponding cards. The objective is to be the first to complete all four phases while overcoming challenges like cortisol, lack of sleep, low water intake, poor nutrition, or pregnancy, which can disrupt progress.
Developed by Aletse’s, this game reflects our commitment to transforming perceptions of menstruation and enhancing menstrual education. For more information, visit www.aletses.com.
