Hiris Jamal

Hiris is a 21-year-old leader from Mozambique, born and raised in Nampula, sharing her birthday with Albert Einstein. She holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Mozambique and has completed postgraduate studies in Leadership and Social Innovation at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. Hiris is dedicated to advocating for education to reduce inequalities and empowering youth for social innovation and community development. In 2023, she participated in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), where she had the opportunity to meet the UN Secretary-General and spoke at the "Renew the Promise for Girls and Women" event in New York alongside President Cyril Ramaphosa. Hiris is committed to continuing her efforts to influence education strategies that foster community development.
