Dzidzo, SafePad Initiative, is a project that seeks to address period poverty and period health and management while being sensitive to climate change. The project seeks to achieve this by making and distributing reusable sanitary wear as well as training adolescent school-going girls aged 13 to 18 living in rural areas in Zimbabwe, with a focus on Epworth, Seke, and Mutoko. Additionally, the project will address taboo conversations around menstruation and period health and management. The goal of the project is to make and distribute 300 reusable sanitate wear and to train 150 girls in how to make reusable sanitary wear.
