Carly- United States of America

Carly was born in the US and currently lives there. She has also lived in Scotland. She has recently completed her high school education. Carly is passionate about protecting the unique beauty of her home, and she is involved in environmental activism and public policy. She is a Youth Trainer for Alaska Youth for Environmental Action, and a member of the Anchorage Youth Advisory Commission. Meeting with elected officials, writing letters to the editor, organizing protests, running, skiing, and playing the guitar are some her favorite activities. Carly plans to take a gap year after high school to volunteer in the Dominican Republic and practice her Spanish before enrolling in Environmental Studies in college.
