Bontle Mogodi

Bontle Mogodi, a 25-year-old Motswana from Gaborone, Botswana, is in their final year studying Motion Picture at Awil College, with a focus on Sound and Editing. Beyond academics, they contribute their expertise as a social media manager for the non-profit, Banana Club. Motivated by the pressing need for comprehensive sexual education for the LGBTQIA+ community and the evident discrimination they encounter in public health services, Bontle has chosen to participate in the upcoming African Youth Summit. While Mogodi's activism experience has been workshop-centric, they're driven to make a difference by developing online platforms. These platforms aim to empower queer individuals with knowledge about their sexuality and to educate healthcare workers for better inclusivity.
