Alexander - Germany

Alexander was Born in Romania and adopted from an orphanage by a German couple. The family moved to New Zealand.

Alex is the leading voice for children’s rights in New Zealand and he seeks to reopen international adoptions from Romania, which have been closed since 2003. He studies International Relations & Politics and Psychology. He is an Ambassador & Board of Trustee for (I’m Adopted) which helps people who are adopted find their biological family and provides post-adoptions support. He is also working on a social enterprise to help youth employability in Romania. He completed an internship at Tearfund, a humanitarian aid and development organisation.
