Aijan- switzerland

Aijan is currently serving as one of the Swiss Youth Delegates to the UN. As a part of her mandate, she represents youth interests at the UN, while trying to bring this institution closer to youth by raising awareness through class visits, workshops and other projects. Having been active in various youth-serving and youth-led organisations, and led a working group on the integration of young migrants within one of them, Aijan has always focused on the inclusion of those that are often left behind. Aijan hopes that her participation at the GYS will help her put together a project in her municipality with the purpose of empowering young people and preventing them from dropping out of school.
