Afuah Duah

Afuah Duah has a bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Stellenbosch (SU). Her passion for advancing human rights through social justice and instilling human dignity is evident in her involvement in student committees as the Human Rights Coordinator for Amnesty International Stellenbosch as well as United Nations Associations South Africa (UNASA) during her time at SU. She has received numerous awards, such as the Rector’s Award for Social Impact and two Kofi-Annan awards from UNASA for her involvement in human rights. She graduated in 2022 with an LLM/MPhil in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa.
