Adiba - Iraq

My name is Adiba.

I graduated from high school in Iraq and currently I am learning French because I am based in Switzerland and I want to enter university.

I am interested in media and journalism as well as women's rights because for past 4 years I have been working with women victims of ISIS during the genocide to raise their voices for their rights and I was one of those women who lost everything. I worked with international organizations and also I worked as the first woman from my community to have joined international media as a freelancer journalist. My goal is to tell the reality of what is going in my community and others.

My ambitions are to continue my way and join human rights organizations to be a strong voice for other women who have no voice.
